Wetzel's Pretzels Debuts First Twisted by Wetzel's Location in Orange County
Wetzel’s Pretzels recently opened the doors to its first storefront dining concept outside of the mall in La Habra, CA.
Fans of the iconic Wetzel’s Pretzels—a nostalgic childhood staple that dates all the way back to 1994—will be excited to discover that they can now access their favorite snacks (along with brand-new innovations) outside of the mall.
Earlier this month, Wetzel’s Pretzels debuted Twisted by Wetzel’s in Orange County, CA. The new storefront features a vibrant and colorful interior design that reflects the company’s Southern California roots, while their menu includes Wetzel’s Pretzels’ signature, freshly made dough to create both classic favorites along with new culinary innovations that take their snacks to another level of fun and tastiness.
Using Wetzel’s Pretzels signature, fresh made dough, the innovative streetside concept crafts new handmade creations that are then stuffed, topped, and drizzled like the Maple Bacon Topped Pretz (pictured).
The menu features a vast selection of sweet and savory treats that are stuffed, topped and drizzled with a variety of delicious ingredients. Menu highlights include:
Twistz: An ode to everyone’s favorite piece of the pretzel—the twist. Twisted and braided pretzel dough is stuffed with cheese and sprinkled with flavorful toppings. Select from the Pizza Bomb, Wetz Coast Club, or Triple Grilled Cheese.
Dogz: The all-beef Wetzel hot dog guests know and love in an elevated version. Options include the Baja Boardwalk with jalapeños, green onion, slaw; the Cilantro Baja Sauce atop a spiral bun; and the Wetz Coast Classic, Sriracha Soul, and Everything Bacon.
Loaded Bitz: Wetzel’s riff on loaded fries where sweet and savory pretzel bites are drizzled and finished with inventive toppings. The S’mores Bitz feature classic Bitz, smothered in rich chocolate fudge, mini marshmallows, graham cracker crunch and chocolate chips. Other options include Bacon Ranch and Baja Elote.
Topped Pretz: Wetzel’s traditional full-sized pretzels are topped with innovative flavors. Options include the Nashville Heat, covered in Wetz Cheese Sauce and dusted with Nashville spice; and the Maple Bacon, with a maple glaze and crispy bacon bits, among others.
Pretzel Chimney Cakes: These twisted chimney cones feature their famous pretzel dough, rolled in sugar crystals and filled with creamy soft serve. Available in Cookies & Cream, Chocolate Brownie, and more.
House-Made Drinks: Refreshing lemonades, floats and more, including the sweet and tangy Mangonada made with real mango frozen lemonade, chili lime seasoning, and top off with a tamarind straw.
One of the sweetest treats on the menu is the pretzel Chimney Cake, made with their famous pretzel dough rolled in sugar crystals and filled with creamy soft serve (pictured: Cookies & Cream).
