Inspired by the spas in Los Angeles’ Koreatown, Mei Vieth decided that she wanted something a little closer to home—so she opened V Spa on October 19 in South Pasadena, California. The first Korean spa in San Gabriel Valley, V Spa features an array of modern amenities such as a steam sauna, Himalayan salt room, red clay detox room, and cold and hot baths.

The service menu offers a variety of relaxing and affordable services, including the popular Korean body scrub treatment, reflexology, facials, massage, and hair services in the salon area. V Spa is offering a $70 special that includes one’s choice between a one-hour Shiatsu or Swedish massage, a cucumber face mask, and a 30-minute traditional Korean deep scrub.

For guests that don’t have time or want a full service, they can pay $25 to receive unlimited access to the spa’s amenities for the day. The spa accepts walk-ins, but reservations are always recommended.

Amenities include a Himalayan salt room.

While V Spa is currently female-only, Vieth does have plans to expand in the near future to include men’s amenities and services. She also owns Happy Feet Massage, which is located just a few steps away from the spa, and caters to men and women there.

V Spa is located at 1130 Fair Oaks Avenue, South Pasadena CA 91030. Hours are Monday - Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Call 626-799-0118 for more information and to book an appointment.
