Salish Lodge & Spa overlooks the 268-foot Snoqualmie Falls in Washington, making it a stunning destination for weddings and other special occasions. The Muckleshoot Indian Tribe-owned property is nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. Honey and herbs from the lodge’s own apiary and garden are used in treatments at its world-renowned spa, as well as the locally sourced Northwest fare and libations in The Dining Room and The Attic.

Each of the property’s 86 guest rooms comes with a fireplace, comfortable seating, and an oversized soaking tub or oversized shower with dual shower heads. We chatted with Spa Manager Rachel Haugen to find out more about the spa’s luxurious amenities, treatments, and more:

Insider's Tip: Hotel guests can upgrade to Club 268 (named for the height of the falls) where they can enjoy complimentary happy hour, breakfast, access to the spa’s amenities, and 20% off retail products ($99/night). Another tip is that hotel guests can request self-guided, in-room treatments with Comfort Zone products.

Bonus: An added bonus is that guests are served champagne upon arrival and given a welcome toast.

Splurge Treatment: Couple’s Rekindle Ritual: An 80-minute treatment in the renovated couples’ room. Couples enjoy side-by-side rosemary and exfoliation, a shared shower, and hot stone massages ($240).

Insider’s Favorite: 80-minute Ultimate Illuminating Facial. This anti-aging facial features Eminence Organic Skin Care, and includes eye and lip facial upgrades.

Unique Treatments:

Herb and Honey Garden Body Scrub: Guests pick and choose ingredients for their own scrub from the garden and apiary. ($145)

Cherry and Damn Good Coffee Scrub: This treatment includes a coffee exfoliation finished with cherry body oil from Bodyceuticals. It’s themed after the movie Twin Peaks, which was filmed in the area. ($145)

Pro Sleep Treatment: This treatment incorporates relaxation and sleep through slow movements and music. ($145)

Fun Fact: The hotel is featured in the opening credits of David Lynch’s Twin Peaks and there is a local Twin Peaks festival in summer. Ask for the Twin Peaks map at the front desk to enjoy a self-guided Twin Peaks tour.
