Week 27 of Weekly Wellness: Friends Who Mask Together Stay Together

I spent the majority of last week on a girl’s trip, a complete wellness and rejuvenating experience in and of itself. In addition to the laughter, conversation, sightseeing, and delicious meals, we managed to sneak in some facial self-care too as part of my #WeeklyWellness2021 Challenge. With skin care always on my mind, I packed a collection of Miss Spa individual facial masks—a favorite go-to of mine while traveling (and at-home too!)

Week 26 of Weekly Wellness: Facial in a Box with The Beauty Cloud

With a red eye flight under our belts and a day of sightseeing behind us, we were ready for a skin refresh more than ever. Miss Spa, a spa staple brand with Korean influence, can be found on the shelves of Target and Ulta with a huge range of clever ingredients from rose stem cell masks to bee venom.

Fun Korean Beauty Products You Need to Try

I opted for the Platinum Age Defying Sheet Mask featuring biodegradable cotton while my two girlfriends reached for the Avocado Ultra-Hydrating Sheet Mask and Evening Primrose Nourishing Sheet Mask. Browsing the Miss Spa site makes choosing the perfect mask for your skin easy since you can search by skin type, concern or ingredient. They even have popular bundles available for easy options, targeted to your wants and needs.

Mask and Relax

My experience:

After cleansing and getting cozy in hotel robes, we grabbed our masks and settled in. Each sheet mask is individually packed and completely saturated with targeted ingredients. Eye, nose, and mouth cut-outs make alignment a breeze and the smooth cotton material feels both nourishing and cooling. Once masks were applied we relaxed for the next 20 minutes as the ingredients got to work.

Platinum Age Defying Sheet Mask features shimmering colloidal platinum and peptides to reduce damage caused by free radicals to help skin rebuild and repair, smoothing fine lines and wrinkles. After discarding the mask, I noticed a luminous glimmer on the skin as I padded excess liquid into my skin like a serum. My dull, traveled skin looked and felt revived, adding an extra glow for the next day too.

Avocado Ultra-Hydrating Sheet Mask softens and hydrates dull, thirsty skin thanks to vitamin E, avocado, and honey. My gal pal reached for this hydrating find in hopes of helping her dry skin recovering from a cold and was impressed with the instant glow and replenished moisture levels.

Evening Primrose Nourishing Sheet Mask is packed with omega-6 fatty acids and evening primrose to restore and replenish dry, stressed skin. My bestie who masked in this floral concoction felt hydrated, noting an enhanced makeup application the next day.
