Splurge Treatment: I would start with our authentic Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Massage and then add a Maui Mikana Body Treatment. The Lomi Lomi massage, or “massage with loving hands,” was passed from generation by Hawaiian healers. This full body massage uses beautifully flowing long and rhythmic massage strokes while incorporating a specialty “lomi stick” and organic Hawaiian lemongrass ginger oil, enhancing relaxation and reducing muscle tension.
The Maui Mikana Body Treatment is rejuvenating and refreshing, with a sugar body scrub of tropical pineapple and papaya that gently exfoliates the skin, before application of an exotic tropical fruit body butter that leaves the skin soft and silky. Both treatments are inspired by the islands, with locally-made products by Ola Hawaiian Body Products. Ola means life or well-being in the Hawaiian language, and Ola Tropical Apothecary is centered on the Hawaiian concept of beauty and wellness, with anti-aging and skin balancing properties of pure tropical oils and fresh, locally grown, indigenous organic ingredients.
Insider Favorite: The Spa at Black Rock Signature Massage is a treatment that the spa team created and it’s very special. Utilizing artisan wild crafted products made in Hawaii, guests will enjoy a massage with an exclusive organic oil blend of coconut, sunflower and passion fruit followed by a unique combination of a taro and honey mask generously applied to the hands and feet. This tropical treatment leaves guests feeling renewed and refreshed.
