At least 500 million women and girls around the world lack adequate facilities for menstrual hygiene management, so in support of women everywhere, SpaRitual has partnered with The Pad Project to create two limited-edition nail polishes. In the Flow ($30) is a red creme shade and Heavy Flow ($30) is a red brown creme color, and both polishes will be available for purchase through September 2020.

75 percent of proceeds from purchases of the two shades will be donated directly to Alexandria House, a transitional residence and house of hospitality that provides safe housing for women and children, through The Pad Project, providing them with period care products for their community.

On August 23 at 11 a.m. PDT, SpaRitual and The Pad Project are hosting a virtual fundraising event for their Polish for a Purpose initiative, which will feature a conversation between SpaRitual Founder Shel Pink and Melissa Berton, Executive Director of The Pad Project, about menstrual equity and self-care advocacy. The discussion will be moderated by menstrual equity activist Naomi Zweiback. For more information, click here.
