Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa and Casino is a beachfront resort that recently underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation.

The beachfront Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa and Casino recently underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation that included a new adults-only pool, new wellness offerings, and a transformed spa. The new adults-only Trankilo pool features 10 spacious and private cabanas that include a shower, smart TV, minibar, crudités, island aloe products, a sofa, and more.

The resort recently hired a Wellness and Well-Being Ambassador who works with guests on three key areas: Feel, Fuel, and Function. The manager creates and enhances experiences related to wellness and mindfulness such as aerial and beach yoga, meditation, and water and land excursions.

The new “Rise and Shine” wellness program consists of various daily classes including aerial yoga, meditation, and Tai Chi to help attendees unwind. There are also full moon yoga classes every month at the Big Palapa that help guests restore energy and celebrate the beauty of the full moon. The resort also offers a new Master Mixology class featuring Green Bar Distillery organic liquors every Sunday at Palms Beach Bar. Guests receive instructions on beginner bartending for one hour, an explanation of selected liquors, a certificate, recipe cards, and two custom drinks.

The full-service ZoiA Spa at Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa and Casino offers guests a tranquil space for relaxation and encourages them to find balance through its emphasis on energy, purity, serenity, and devotion. ZoiA is the local word for “balance and poise” and is reflected in the spa’s all-natural treatments, which include ingredients such as the island’s most abundant natural resource, aloe vera.

We interviewed Rosy Nuboer, Romance Planning Manager at Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa and Casino, who shared insider tips, recommended treatments, and more.

Why You’ll Love It: We incorporate the land and spirit of Aruba into our treatments. With an abundance of aloe plants on the island, including our own aloe garden, we work to incorporate aloe’s healing ingredients in our lotions and treatments. A representative from the local Aruba Aloe farm also visits weekly to demonstrate the benefits of aloe to our guests.

Key Features: We are currently working on several special amenities that promote health and well-being. For example, we offer a turndown amenity the day before the treatment with a handwritten note and an aromatherapy roller ball.

Insider’s Tip: Ask for our scalp massage to be added to your treatment. It’s a blissful escape that releases tension through the gentle massage and aromatherapy oils that help condition hair. Our guests really enjoy the Wild Lime Head and Neck Therapy.

Private cabanas, food, and beverage services are available at the adults-only Trankilo pool and the family pool.

Unique Treatment: The most unique treatment is the Massage den Awa, which is a gentle form of body therapy performed in the new adults-only Trankilo pool for deep relaxation that combines elements of massage, shiatsu, and muscle stretching.

Spa guests can also opt to enjoy massages by the pool or even in the pool.

Splurge Treatment: Island Breeze is the perfect treatment if you are looking to immerse the senses in your island getaway. You will be surrounded by the scent of the exfoliating pineapple sugar scrub followed by a soothing back massage that uses nourishing coconut oil that leaves the skin soft, moisturized, and protected from the elements.

Insider’s Favorite: The Aruba Luffa is a favorite for those who enjoy a revitalizing treatment that incorporates local products. We provide a locally-grown Luffa that is made into a cream bar of your choice. After the polish treatment, you enjoy a refreshing shower followed by an organic moisturizer for healing hydration.

Guests at the spa can also enjoy treatments in the luxurious private spa suite.
