Key Features: YHI Spas boast a Water Ritual program that guests enjoy before or after their treatment, where they are guided through a water-focused ritual that starts with sauna and steam room experiences to promote relaxation, and ends with specialty pressure jets for legs, back, and waist. Bonus: Guests begin their spa experience with warm neck pillows that are infused with essential oils and have access to a variety of detox refreshments. Resort guests can also take advantage of the “Spa Happenings” offered each week, which include mini massage workshops, fresh fruit bites, and special discounts for treatments.

Unique Treatment: The YHI Mandala Experience is an elemental massage combining hot stone techniques and healing Asian rituals. The treatment focuses on rhythmical manipulations over the muscles and skin to release tension in the nerves and provide muscle relaxation. The experience helps to improve lymphatic and blood circulation and is complemented with placement of hot basalt stones on the body, concentrating the heat in the most tense areas to provide the ultimate feeling of relaxation.

Insider’s Favorite: Personally, my favorite is the "Clean Beauty" Facial, which we will be launching in 2021 throughout our spas. It has been created with a unique vegan skincare line that promotes eco-conscious beauty. The facial also includes shamanic techniques and organic, natural ingredients for personal care.

Splurge Treatment: Each YHI Spa has its own signature treatment, combining traditional massage techniques with local touches, the only way to feel the local culture through your skin. For example, at Paradisus Cancun, our 175-minute “Balance Your Emotions” treatment provides a purifying cacao wrap to relax muscles and joints, followed by a decontractiving back massage. The treatment is then finished with an anti-aging repairing facial to bring guests to a maximum state of relaxation.
