Insider’s Favorite: One of the most beautiful and personally favorite treatments is the ‘Hora Sexta - Nun’s Escape’, which has been a great success among guests since its release. This ritual aims to bring the guest back to the monastic splendor and to that sixth hour dedicated to self-care. This brings back an atmosphere of warmth, thanks to the hot stone massage that is then accompanied by a sequence of specific massage maneuvers. The essence of lemon and rosemary, well known for their detoxifying and revitalizing properties, along with an exclusive face mask, helps brighten and give turgidity to all skin types.

The spa draws from the Mediterranean garden, as well as the monastic roots, using products from Santa Maria Novella.

Unique Treatment: ‘Light a Candle’ is a very unique treatment that begins with an aromatic powder scrub of iris or bitter orange to soften and prepare the skin for a deeply focused relaxing massage using the unique Santa Maria Novella candle wax made of pure plant oils and prime emollient butters. Lit as a normal candle, the wax begins to melt to body temperature and is then expertly poured and buffed onto the skin. The soothing warmth and the delicate scent of spice is especially relaxing, and can be helpful to restore the body’s natural biorhythm that gets disrupted by travel as well as help to induce calm and balance. The candle within its ceramic Santa Maria Novella candle holder is given at the end of treatment to continue the experience at home.

Guests can also enjoy relaxing on heated benches with whirlpool foot baths in the Tepidarium.
