Escape to the Desert With the Best Palm Springs-Inspired Products

We chatted with Cristina Cascio, Director of Spa Rosa, to learn more about treatments to try, insider tips, and more.

The signature Tommy Bahama aesthetic can be seen throughout the 11-acre property.

Why You’ll Love It: The feel of Spa Rosa, with its perfect size, sitting within a lush garden oasis and amazing views of the Santa Rosa mountains, always wins the hearts of our guests.

The resort has 215 guest rooms and five luxury villa suites.

Key Features: The star of Spa Rosa is the outdoor area with a private Spa pool, Riverbench jacuzzi with individual waterfalls that flow over your back, neck and shoulders; meditation dens to zone out in, and a beautiful terrace that points right at the majestic Santa Rosa Mountains.

Spa Rosa also features a fully-appointed locker room with eucalyptus steam room, Spa showers, and plush robes—not to mention a Spa boutique with unique and high-quality items to take home as a keepsake of your time in the Spa.

The resort has three saltwater pools including the signature Tommy Bahama pool with private cabanas.

Snacks Served: We have a full menu for our guests to choose from the pool bar Chiki Palm or anything served from our restaurant Grapefruit Basil. We also keep tea, fruit, and rotating snacks for guests to enjoy during the day.

Spa Rosa is the resort’s 12,000-square-foot wellness sanctuary where guests can relax and recharge.

Bonus: One of my favorite bonuses that make a huge impact on our guest’s experience are the many wellness and fitness classes included on the day of your visit to Spa Rosa. Everything from our most popular yin yoga class, unique outdoor aerial yoga class, ceremonial Sankalpa ritual, hikes, walk and bike rides, we have something for everyone.

The spa’s outdoor terrace overlooks the pool and offers views of the Santa Rosa Mountains.

Insider’s Tip: Too many people come close to their appointment time to start their Spa day; however, you have access all day to the Spa, as well as the Resort facilities which include a large and full-service pool with a walk-up bar.

Guests can spend time before and after their services in the various relaxation areas throughout the spa.

Splurge Treatment: We have several treatments that will feel like an over-the-top treat and while splurge will mean different things to different people, for me our Surrender to Sound treatments for the "Wellness Wanderers" is divine. You start with a Spa favorite, massage and without leaving the treatment room you are then transitioned into a private sound bath. I am a big believer of the healing benefits of sound therapy and after a massage, there are no words to describe the level of relaxation that can be accomplished.

An outdoor covered relaxation area at the spa also features Tommy Bahama’s signature design aesthetic.

Unique treatment: The Desert Raindrop enhancement that can be added onto our relaxation or tailored massage has the most incredible aromatherapy I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. It has seven different aromatherapy oils of botanicals that can be found in the desert that are dripped onto the back and massage in specific meridians to be most effective and incredibly relaxing.

Spa Rosa’s treatment menu features methods and rituals inspired by the healing powers of the surrounding desert.

Insider’s Favorite: It is such a difficult decision! However, if I had to choose one, I would have to say the Heart and Sol Rose Quartz facial using oil with citrine, my birthstone. The products are so effective, unique, intoxicating, and you can use it from head to toe. I would bathe in this product if I could afford it!

Spa guests can enjoy rejuvenating services including massages tailored to their needs and more.

Featured Products: Hydropeptide, Epicuren, and our local company The Body Deli.
