Rosewood Vienna Debuts Asaya Spa with Treatments from Augustinus Bader

Rosewood Vienna, the newest ultra-luxury hotel in the Austrian capital, recently unveiled Asaya Spa.

The newest ultra-luxury hotel to open in Austria’s capital, Rosewood Vienna recently debuted Asaya Spa—a tranquil setting where guests and visitors can experience elements of Rosewood Hotel Group’s lifestyle community for the first time outside of Asia.

Designed to inspire self-discovery for a fulfilling life, Asaya seeks to bring balance to the body, mind, and soul. Spa guests can book distinct therapies and rituals representative of Asaya’s pillars of wellness including physical, community, and skin health. The spa has also partnered with Augustinus Bader, one of the world’s most highly regarded skincare brands, to create results-oriented facial and body treatments with an emphasis on skin health.

“We are honored to be home to the first Asaya outside of Asia and to add yet another rich layer to our already marquee property,” says Alexander Lahmer, Managing Director of Rosewood Vienna.

Through the partnership, which is the brand’s first in the city, guests can experience highly effective facial and body treatments that embody the beauty brand’s clean science principles and holistic approach. Augustinus Bader is a groundbreaking skincare line based on 30 years of research and innovation by Professor Augustinus Bader—a leading scientist in the field of stem cell research and regenerative medicine and head of the Institute for Applied Science at the University of Leipzig.

The spa menu features a wide range of exclusive services based on the proprietary Augustinus Bader Method, which has been crafted to stimulate the skin tissue to lead the body naturally into healthy repair at the highest individual level. The brand’s patented TFC8® (Trigger Factor Complex) technology is paired with a highly sensitive, hands-on approach to boost cellular communication, promote circulation, firm, tone and refresh the skin, for immediately visible results and even greater overall benefits.

Rosewood Vienna’s Asaya Spa has partnered with Augustinus Bader to create results-oriented facial and body treatments with an emphasis on skin health.

Services offered include treatments created especially for men, as well as those targeting specific areas of the body such as the décolleté. This partnership complements the treatments created by the Asaya Spa team to offer a multi-layered approach to well-being that is both clinically based and holistically conceived.

Located in the heart of Vienna, Asaya Spa offers stunning views of the dome and bell towers of St. Peter’s Church. rue to Rosewood’s guiding A Sense of Place philosophy, Asaya Spa pulls inspiration directly from its surroundings through a range of therapies and programs featuring local and Austrian influences. Many of the spa treatments have been designed to bring a sense of well-being found in nature such as treatments utilizing local herbs and blossoms for massages and sound rituals featuring singing bowls.

The spa extends over the hotel’s fifth and sixth floors and includes four treatment rooms, a private social suite, relaxation area, sauna, steam bath, and experience shower. These facilities are complemented by a state-of-the-art fitness center located on the property’s second floor that occupies the former board room of the historic bank building in which the hotel is housed. The property’s team of experts helps curate bespoke routines and recommendations for guests, allowing them to continue their wellness journey well beyond their stay.

Asaya Spa at Rosewood Vienna joins Rosewood Hotel Group’s growing Asaya portfolio. Rosewood has embarked on a thoughtful growth trajectory for Asaya and continues to announce new projects as well as expansions to existing Rosewood properties, with the first South America destination set to open at Rosewood São Paulo in 2023.

True to Rosewood’s guiding A Sense of Place philosophy, Asaya Spa pulls inspiration directly from its surroundings through a range of therapies and programs featuring local and Austrian influences.

“With the unveiling of our Asaya Spa at Rosewood Vienna, we are excited to offer the opportunity for guests to experience the brand’s signature pillars and rituals, and to partner with Augustinus Bader to bring their patented skincare technology to Vienna for the first time,” says Nadine Kaindl, Spa Manager at Rosewood Vienna.
