Whatever the guests’ goals, Apsara wants them to leave feeing better and more restored than when they arrived. Founded by Femé Naigow, an esthetician and makeup artist with more than 20 years experience in the beauty industry, Aspara is designed as a getaway for the body and soul.

Services include facials, massages, body services, lash and brow treatments, manicures and pedicures, makeup application, and hair removal—including waxing, sugaring, threading, and tweezing. For those wanting to make a spa day, their most loved package is the “Ultimate Relaxation Package,” which encompasses three hours of a Red Island Ritual (sugar scrub exfoliation followed by an arnica-infused massage) and a deluxe facial with an LED light therapy treatment.

They offer multiple couples packages that include massage, facials, and body treatments. The facial menu includes a MyoLift treatment, an anti-aging facial, deluxe and signature facials, and an LED light therapy treatment. Massages can be full body or focused on particular areas such as the back, neck, face, scalp or jaw. Manicures and pedicures are offered with shellac and paraffin dip plus a special service designed for men that uses the Jack Black skincare line.

Celeste Salon & Spa at Amway Grand Plaza

Newly renovated, Celeste Salon & Spa at Amway Grand Plaza had its grand opening in Summer 2023, having moved to a new location with big plans to make it the destination spa in the region. With indoor and outdoor relaxation spaces, steam rooms and saunas, and easy access to the hotel’s swimming pool, pickleball courts, and fitness center, the salon and spa offers luxury beauty and wellness services.

Celeste promises that they are a place “where subtle meets soulful; let us sweep you off your feet.” In addition to individual services, the spa and salon can accommodate groups, especially bridal parties with custom packages meeting everyone’s needs.

In pursuit of what they call “radiant wellness,” Celeste Salon and Spa offers massage, skincare, haircare, nail, and makeup services. Massage includes hot stone, aromatherapy, deep tissue, sports, Swedish, pre-natal, and couples massage. Skincare treatments include therapeutic, age-defying, deep cleansing, and men’s facials. They’ll apply either mineral makeup or airbrush makeup.

Ethos Day Spa

Ethos Day Spa sets out to do something different. They are an eco-luxury salon and spa, a day spa specializing in beauty and relaxation treatments. From their lash bar to their barbershop to their head spa, they seek to provide a wide range of services.

And those reserving any spa service can take time to indulge in their amenities—a sauna, a steam room, a hot tub, a cold plunge, an outdoor fire pit and relaxation lounges. (These are not available for salon treatments.) All spa services start with their signature aromatic ritual. Estheticians can incorporate many different enhancements to elevate a facial experience, whether it is one designed to illuminate, restore, calm or rejuvenate. There is also a Michigan Man Facial that responds to specific environmental stressors. Advanced skincare options include HydraFacials, peels, and dermaplaning.

The salon uses Oway products and includes hair services, coloring, manicures and pedicures, lash and facial bar, waxing, makeup, and permanent cosmetics. It’s why they specialize in express facials at their facial bar, a facial that “provides all the results of a 90-minute facial in 30 minutes.” It may be quick, but it still includes exfoliation, nourishment, hydration, balancing, and deep pore cleansing.

They also offer an opportunity to make the visit a social occasion with a variety of “with a friend” services. These include hand, foot, facial, CBD, and beard treatments. You don’t have to be in a hurry to visit Lex Facial Bar and Spa. They offer a Grand Lounge Facial, which includes all of the add-ons they offer: skin scrubber, high frequency, hand and arm massage, cooling facial massage using gemstone roller or cooling globes and a scalp massage.

Other services include body treatments, massages, CBD treatments, facial waxing, and brow and lash services. Body treatments recognize that sometimes a person needs a facial in a place other than their face. They offer butt, back, and back of thigh facials along with full-body wraps, scrubs, and polishes.

Urban You Med Spa
