Historic Smithton Inn Launches "WIFI & WINE" Workation Package
The Historic Smithton Inn was originally a tavern/stage coach stop built in 1763 and recently launched a WIFI & WINE Workation Package.
For those that want to get away but can’t leave their work behind, the Historic Smithton Inn in Pennsylvania has launched a new Workation WIFI & WINE Package that is available for both couples and solo travelers. The package allows guests to choose their own happy hour and order breakfast to coincide with their Zoom meetings. In addition, the property has been completely rewired to offer high-speed internet so guests will never be out of touch with the world during their stay.
Other upgrades include the addition of smart TVs in all rooms, enabling guests to log in to their streaming services on large screens. The inn also has its own Tesla electric vehicle charging station, and is located just steps away from the bustling downtown area that offers numerous al fresco dining options, independent shops, and craft breweries. One of the inn’s trademark features are the 18-inch stone walls, which add another layer of charm.
Built in 1763, the 18th century inn was originally a tavern/stage coach stop and features an expansive garden, a courtyard with zig-zag Edison lights and live music, as well as a back garden with a fire pit surrounded by trees and games like corn hole and Jenga. The onsite wine bar, Weathered Vineyards, offers more than 10 varieties of wine and a slush machine to make frozen wine drinks. For those looking for additional relaxation during their stay, the inn can arrange for a local massage therapist to come and give guests relaxing in-room massages.
