Now that travel is back full force, many people are busy booking and planning their next vacation. A recent trend report, The 2023 Traveler: Emerging Trends that are Innovating the Travel Experience, A Report from Hilton, demonstrates that people are redefining what wellness means to them and their lifestyles will incorporate travel as an integral part of their wellness routine. According to the report, this year travelers will opt for hotels that offer:

  • Health-Conscious Dining: 32% of global travelers are prioritizing locally sourced food and beverage products in 2023, which will lead consumers will seek out immersive culinary experiences.

  • Opportunities to Connect With the Local Culture: Travelers will be seeking out engaging and purposeful travel experiences, with 49% looking to immerse themselves into local cultures.

  • Taking Time to Unplug: Nearly half (49%) of employed global survey respondents will be looking to travel in 2023 to disconnect from work.

Hilton properties across the world have added new wellness offerings to continue to deliver exceptional experiences for guests in 2023 and beyond. From Mercury Retrograde rituals to helipad cycling with fireworks, we highlight the latest and greatest from Conrad, Hilton, Waldorf Astoria and more:

Helipad Cycling with Fireworks & Adidas Coaches

Hilton Mexico City Reforma has debuted “Ride in the Sky” cycling experience atop the towering heliport amidst 360-degree views of Mexico City. With six events set for the year, the last one kicked off with a 5k race guided by Adidas coaches through the historic center, followed by the helipad ride and finished with a 30-minute spa treatment. Upcoming events will be held in May, August, November and December.

Mercury Retrograde Ritual in Aruba

Exclusively available when Mercury is in retrograde (3 to 4 times per year), Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort and Casino’s new Retrograde Ritual guides guests to find their inner chi accompanied by the sounds of the beach and crystal bowls. The combination of mindful meditation and sound healing invites a centered and grounded feeling of calm to pass through the retrograde season. The next activations will take place on April 21 and 28, 2023.

Salt Therapy and Sol Garden in Arizona

Arizona Biltmore, A Waldorf Astoria Resort has expanded its wellness offerings with the debut of the new Sol Garden at Tierra Luna Spa. The inviting outdoor space takes guests on a journey through the powerful elements of fire, water, ice and earth. From an Alchemy Mud and Crystal Bar to sound bowl meditation, Sol Garden at Tierra Luna Spa offers guests a place to relax, restore and breathe in the spirit of the desert.

The Sol Garden also offers an abundance of thoughtful rituals and healing journeys to complement Tierra Luna Spa’s distinct treatment menu, in addition to a state-pf-the-art, standalone SALT Chamber which is equipped with pure-grade Himalayan salt to boost immunity, improve mood and revive skin.

Synastry Astrology in Hawaii

Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort has launched a new session centered around synastry astrology, or the alchemy of relationship astrology. During the session, two guests will have a joint reading with the resort’s resident astrologer and explore their synastry and composite charts, signs, temperaments, qualities, and elements to explore what makes their relationship click.

Shamans & Mayan Healing in Mexico

Inspired by the connection of Tree of Life within Mayan culture, the spa at the newly opened Waldorf Astoria Cancun taps into the healing of fresh herbs from their garden, healing stones and onsite shamans. Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya’s in-house shaman performs ancient rituals including purifying gratitude and sacred cenote ceremonies, plus a multi-step “Kinich Ahau Journey” pays homage to the God of the Sun for strength and light.

Rooftop Workouts Atop Beverly Hills

Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills invites guests to new rooftop Wellness Workouts every Sunday at 8:30 a.m. Hosted on the hotel’s exclusive Rooftop Promenade overlooking the beautiful Beverly Hills skyline, the workouts feature an array of movements. Trainer Jai Jordan combines the benefits of aerobic and HIIT exercises to create a 45 to 60-minute reset.

Spa Profile: La Prairie Spa at The Waldorf Astoria, Beverly Hills

The class is complimentary for two hotel guests per room, and locals are invited to join for $20 per person including complimentary valet parking at 8:30 a.m. on the Rooftop Promenade. Guests are providing with mats, towels and water.

F45 Training at Hilton Austin

F45 Training Hilton Downtown Austin will serve as downtown Austin’s exclusive F45 Training studio, which allows Austinites and travelers the opportunity to maintain fitness goals with coach-led group workouts in the heart of Austin. Travelers staying at Hilton Austin can take advantage of the F45 Training experience at a drop-in fee, subject to an additional discount for Hilton Honors members. Organizations that are hosting events at the hotel will have the unique opportunity to book group fitness and stretch sessions to enhance their event for up to 75 attendees.

Additionally, Hilton Austin’s F45 location offers exclusive amenities to locals who sign up for memberships, including access to the rooftop pool and hot tub with breathtaking views of the city, steam room, sauna, complimentary self-parking, and a 15 percent discount at on-property restaurants. The studio is F45’s first hotel-based location and downtown Austin’s sole location.

Post-Slope Recovery

Waldorf Astoria Park City has introduced some new treatments featuring products from Ground Wellbeing and Botanika Life. Committed to the power of touch, GROUND Wellbeing rituals were created with purpose and intention to deliver carefully developed massage treatments to bring relief from Insomnia, Anxiety, Burnout, Gut Health & Menopausal Symptoms.

Botanika Life is a collection of clean, hand-crafted luxury lifestyle and wellness products that are loaded with full spectrum CBD and other powerhouse plant-based ingredients that have passed third-party lab testing.
