DIY: Water Marble Nails

If you’re missing your manicurist but can’t get to the salon, water marble nails are a super cute nail art technique that are super on-trend and easy to recreate. This technique involves dropping nail polish into clear water and creating a pattern on the water’s surface—then you transfer the design straight onto your nails!

Salon Safety: What You Should Know and Look For When Going to a Nail Salon

@gabbysnailart shared a fun and simple step-by-step for creating water marble nails using vegan nail care brand Orosa Beauty, which recently added some gorgeous desert-inspired hues to its collection. But marble nails look good with all color combinations so you can feel free to let your creative juices flow! Check out the video above and instructions below for recreating DIY water marble nails

  1. Apply a base coat of white, such as Snow Pure Cover Nail Paint to help your marble design really pop.

  2. Start by dropping Pure Cover Nail Paints (of your choosing) in the center of your cup of water to form a bullseye design. For creamy pink hues, try Desert Rose along with Moon.

  3. Swipe a toothpick through the water mixture to create any design your heart desires.

  4. Dip your finger straight down in the water.

  5. Clean off the excess Pure Cover Nail Paint.

  6. Time to show off those gorgeous marble nails!
