Oakwell Beer Spa

3004 Downing St., Denver, CO 80205; (720) 810-1484

Originally called The Beer Spa, Oakwell Beer Spa was the brainchild of husband and wife Jessica French and Damien Zouaoui. Most people don’t think of beer and spa services going together, but Oakwell Beer Spa in downtown Denver is an award-winning beer-inspired day spa offering a first-class wellness experience.

The French-American couple wanted to create something innovative, something that hadn’t been done before. Both French and Zouaoui love international travel. On a visit to Europe, they decided to escape the rain in Zakopane, Poland and happened upon a “beer spa” nearby. An idea was born.

Guests of the spa can experience the Beer Bath Hydrotherapy, which is a soak in a bubbly beer tea (the beer baths are unfermented and never contain yeast) inside a cedar hydrotherapy tub filled with a blend of hops, barley, and herbs. End result: a unique relaxation experience.

Other offerings include access to infrared saunas, a Zero Gravity massage experience with chairs that use the latest robotics technology for a hands-off, therapeutic massage, a taproom, and group events.
