Beauty Bosses: Kerrigan Behrens & Kaley Nichol, Founders of Sagely Naturals

This week’s Beauty Bosses are Kerrigan Behrens and Kaley Nichol, the duo behind Sagely Naturals—a line of creams, capsules, oils, and sprays that are infused with the highest quality hemp-derived CBD. Since the brand’s inception, the founders have worked alongside chemists and naturopaths to create products that are dedicated to whole self-wellness and offer maximum potency and absorption.
Sagely Naturals’ non-GMO, sun-grown hemp is sourced from their partner farms in Colorado and Oregon, and state certified by the Department of Agriculture. Throughout the process, beneficial insects like ladybugs are used throughout the process for pest control in lieu of harsh chemical applications of pesticides. They have created a proprietary method of extraction and purification at their partner facilities, avoiding the use of harsh chemicals or solvents, and all traces of THC are removed to less than 0.0025% per industry standards.
We chatted with Behrens and Nichol, who shared beauty and wellness tips, best advice, success secrets, and more.
When was Sagely Naturals founded?
Sagely Naturals was founded in 2015 as one of the first CBD brands to market. The name comes from the archetype of the Sage—a wise guide, seeker of truth. When we named the brand, we wanted that name to connote a product that is based on intelligence, wisdom, and insight because those are the core values from which we built the brand.
What inspired the creation of the brand?
We started Sagely Naturals because we wanted to create something that not only helped us with the physical discomfort we were experiencing, but we also wanted to create something that could help others. And we wanted to do this in a very natural way with CBD. We came to CBD through genuine, personal needs that led us on a search for something that could make a positive impact—in our own lives and the lives of others.
Does Sagely Naturals have a hero product?
Our Relief & Recovery line is our best seller. We attribute that to its multi-generational use for physical discomfort.
What are your favorite products from the line?
Kaley: Right now it's Sagely Naturals Brightening Serum.
Kerrigan: The entire Brightening Skincare line is my favorite right now for before bed and I love the Eye Cream. When I was pregnant, I did not use any CBD products.
Where are your products sold?
Our products are sold on our website and at select major retailers including CVS Pharmacy, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Sprouts, and Ulta.
Future plans for the brand?
We want to continue to make strides in the growing CBD industry. There are so many products out there that are not always the most user-friendly or even very appealing to people, so we want to make truly useful and effective products that help people with whole self-wellness. We want Sagely Naturals to become a household name in the CBD space.

Favorite ways to relax?
Kaley: While it might not sound like a wind-down, I get perspective after a tough day by spending time in my kids’ toy room. The stress of the day instantly gets overshadowed by the sweetness and innocence of child’s play—it's what I live for!
