Beauty Brands Join the Fight Against Australia's Brushfires

The devastating brushfires in Australia have left a tragic impact on precious wildlife and killed almost half a billion animals, displaced hundreds of thousands of people and families, and burned down thousands of homes and millions of acres of land. As the planet’s climate crisis continues, several beauty brands have stepped up to take action and join the fight against this sad situation that is our current reality.

Skincare brand Herbivore Botanicals has teamed up with WIRES, a wildlife rescue nonprofit that is saving and caring for thousands of sick, injured, and orphaned native animals. Throughout the remainder of January, Herbivore Botanicals will match 100% of all donations made to support WIRES through Herbivorebotanicals.com; Donate to Support Australia.

Australian haircare brand KEVIN.MURPHY will be donating $100,000 to various organizations in Australia to provide relief and recovery assistance to its citizens, firefighters, and wildlife. The brand encourages those that find it in their heart to donate and have listed the links to the organizations it will be giving back to below. They are on the front lines and assisting not only people, but also animals affected. Below are descriptions of how the donations will be used.

The regional fire services in the worst affected states, NSW, SA & VIC all require significant help for volunteer firefighters on the frontline, as well as provide relief to those affected. The Red Cross Disaster Relief is supporting thousands of people in evacuation centres and recovery hubs across Australia.⠀ ⠀
