The Wild Hare Trip, A Meditation + Manifestation Retreat in Joshua Tree, CA

  • The Wild Hare Trip Twentynine Palms Highway Joshua Tree, CA, 92252 United States (map)

The Wild Hare Trip is a meditation + manifestation retreat in Joshua Tree, CA, where what's lost is found. Retreat leader Jenny Yarborough, the founder of White Rabbit Trips, shares the details about what to expect at this transformative desert retreat:

"Lost is found unless you're happy standing still. Chase your wild hares. Clean out the dust bunnies of the mind. Follow us to the high desert. Here, there's no room for anything but vacancy. Enter the void. Move without moving. Clear your mind. You make the time and we'll make the space. Come back to you."

When: June 22-26, 2018

Mark your calendars for The Wild Hare Trip!

Mark your calendars for The Wild Hare Trip!

Where: Joshua Tree, California

Retreat Activities: Guided meditation, family-style meals, journaling, hiking, stargazing, campfires, good riddance burning ceremony, live music at Pappy and Harriet’s

Nearby: Only 10 minutes from Joshua Tree National Park, walkable to the saloon, coffee, clothing and art boutiques. While you're deserted, there's plenty to do in these wide open spaces.

Notable Highlight: Our day-to-day lives are filled to the brim. Our heads are everywhere looking in all directions. This retreat is in the desert for a reason—to get away, to come back to the self. This unique landscape is what I as the leader look forward to most. But I think we all will have a few highlights which may include our Mad Hatter’s (More than) Tea Party—a family-style dinner to kick-off the trip, time spent under the stars in a place where there’s little light pollution, our good riddance burning ceremony, and an optional group dinner at the famous Pappy and Harriet’s with live music.

Of course, meditation is really the heart of this retreat. In the end, the hope is to leave with new friends, a sense of community and a feeling of peace. White Rabbit Trips is a mindful events and retreats company. Our goal is to use yoga, travel and the arts as tools for meditation so that we can travel down the rabbit holes of our minds and come back out our more authentic selves.

Cuisine: Each day, we'll start with a locally sourced and prepared vegan (gluten-free options available) breakfast. Our food will all be prepared fresh onsite by one of our White Rabbit Trips Family members —Addie Jo. All meals will be vegetarian with vegan and gluten-free options. On our last night together, we invite you to join us at the famous Pappy + Harriet's for dinner and live music.

Retreat guests will stay in vintage airstreams!

Meet The Wild Hare Trip's Retreat Leader, Jenny Yarborough

Your Retreat Leader: Jenny Yarborough. Mama Rabbit. Jenny (From the Yoga Block) Yarborough is the founder of White Rabbit Trips. You can call her Mama Rabbit if you like. She won't mind. Actually, she'll love you for it. Jenny lives in a little yellow house by the beach that she named The Honey Hole because it's so sweet. This is just one of the sacred places where she seeks her muse on the East Coast. Travel tends to work too. She is a writer (with two first place awards from the NCPA). A yogi. A yoga teacher (RYT200). An athlete (she played football with the boys!). A mama to two dogs (Hickory and Forrest). And lover (not a hater). While she's trained with renowned yoga instructors like Tamal Dodge and David Emerson, she's found her focus as a teacher has much more to do with the mind than with the body. As she likes to say: she doesn't teach yoga, she preaches yoga. The only way out is in.
