The Spa at The Madrid EDITION offers a unique wellness experience that allows both in-house and day guests to truly awaken all senses through a range of invigorating and soothing treatments. There are five specialist treatment rooms, including a double treatment room and a private steam suite. Products from Spanish wellness brand Natura Bisse were selected to enhance each guest’s state of wellbeing and total relaxation.

From the very first moment our guests enter into The Spa, they are in love with the sense of tranquility and disconnection they can feel. Our Spa is an intimate and cozy space, clad in dark timber and embellished with candelabras, which help our guests disconnect from their daily routines. After their experience with us, guests leave with a feeling of reconnection with themselves, a sensation that will for sure make them want to visit us again. We offer personal and sophisticated services to make every one of our guests feel special and recognized.

Key Features: We are open daily from 10am to 9pm. We have 5 treatment rooms, including a couple’s suite with a private Mud Room where our guests are taken on a curated journey. Our Spa features a Finnish-style Sauna and a Steam Room, which we recommend our guest use before their treatments, as they improve circulation and open the pores of the skin, among other benefits. We always recommend to arrive at least 30 minutes prior treatments, to truly have enough time to unwind.

Guests can find everything they need for their experience, such as bathrobes and towels. These items are located in the changing rooms, where guests can have a shower with Le Labo shower products, also available in the hotel rooms.

The relaxation area is the heart of The Spa where guests can enjoy their experience and relax from the moment they walk in the door.

Spa Snacks: The Executive Chef of The Madrid EDITION has created a special snack for us: Tapioca in coconut milk with passion fruit gel and red fruits. It is a gluten free and vegan food so all our guests can enjoy it.

We also offer a unique selection of Jing Tea, which comes in a wide variety of flavors, from green tea to blue tea, chamomile and ginger and lemongrass, our guest favorite.

Popular Treatments: The most popular treatment at The Spa is The Madrid EDITION Massage. This tailored-made treatment starts with a consultation and an aromatherapy experience, where guests can select from a range of 4 Natura Bissé massage oils depending on their desired result – be it to feel energized or relaxed, allowing them to be transported to a deep state of wellbeing.

Another very popular treatment is the Revitalize Facial, especially for those in love with the Mediterranean Culture. Using the C+C line from Natura Bissé, this facial treatment restores vitality to skin damaged from the effects from the sun. This treatment indulges the skin in an invigorating dose of vitamin C and citrus aroma, transporting the guest into the quintessential southern sunset.

Most unique treatment: Definitely, “Your Signature EDITION Massage”. It is an authentic EDITION experience with a focused intention on the body´s needs. This massage is carried out with our Black Tea scented oil, the EDITION’s signature aroma which has been created by Le Labo exclusively for the brand. It is a rich and complex aroma designed to tap into your feelings of wellbeing and comfort. It starts with a local ritual to embrace the guest´s sense of place within each destination. In this case, this ritual is a Vitamin C foot scrub which will transport you to a Madrid sunset. This exclusive massage experience is featured at all our EDITION Hotel Spas worldwide and leaves our guests feeling calm, relaxed and rejuvenated.

Insider’s Favorite: The Signature Ritual is definitely on our list of favorite treatments. This emulsion-based treatment leaves the skin smoother, vitalized and luminous, thanks to the highly effective exfoliating agents. On top of that, it has a very high concentration of Vitamin C, which protects the skin against dryness and premature aging.

Again, our Signature EDITION Massage is always a favorite because of the uniqueness and specialness of Le Labo Black Tea Oil, which is enriched with jojoba, macadamia, and sweet almond oils.

Wellness Experiences: We offer personal trainer sessions upon request in the gym, which is open 24 hours and is located in the same floor as the Spa. This could be complemented with a 60 or a 90 minutes massage, which will release tightness, energize the body and relieve tension to leave the Spa completely rejuvenated.
