Raffles Istanbul Offers Family Hammam Experience
The Turkish bath or “hammam” tradition dates back to the Ottoman era and was an important ritual that involved cleansing and relaxing, as well as gathering for social affairs. Often referred to as “marble temples,” hammams are bathing complexes which are decorated from floor to ceiling with marble.
Raffles Istanbul, the first five-star rated property in Turkey, has rejuvenated the ancient tradition and is now offering an experience for the entire family to enjoy. The luxurious hotel has three Turkish hammams in the world-renowned Raffles Spa, which features male and female relaxation areas with saunas, steam rooms, Jacuzzis, experience showers, and ice fountains. The outdoor pool offers stunning panoramic views of the city, and both indoor and outdoor pools are bathed in natural light.
The Family Hammam Experience is available for families who want to spend quality time together while refreshing and regenerating. With its private lounge, relaxation area, ice fountain, treatment room, hammam and showers, the guests will enjoy an exclusive private hammam experience with their loved ones.
