Recently, Pantone announced the 2019 Color of the Year: Living Coral, an animating and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge. This warm and engaging color welcomes and encourages lighthearted activity, and embodies our desire for playful expression. It also emits the energizing aspects of color found in nature, and is evocative of how coral reefs provide shelter to a diverse kaleidoscope of color.

“Color is an equalizing lens through which we experience our natural and digital realities and this is particularly true for Living Coral,” says Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute. “With consumers craving human interaction and social connection, the humanizing and heartening qualities displayed by the convivial Pantone Living Coral hit a responsive chord.”

For 20 years, Pantone’s Color of the Year has influenced multiple industries, including fashion, home furnishings, and industrial design, as well as product packaging. The Color of the Year selection process requires thoughtful consideration and trend analysis, and Pantone’s color experts comb the world in search of new color influences. Celebrate this year’s Pantone color in style with these beauty products inspired by Living Coral:
